Not only are the people that were locked in for not wearing a mask going to sue for unlawful detention or whatever, but the people who were wearing them are going to sue because they were locked in with 'potential carriers'.
What I couldn't figure out is why the people being locked in didn't head to the nearest fire exit, hit the panic bar and walk out side.
ReplyDeleteMany places, still to this day, chain their fire exit doors shut. Because that's where a lot of thieves come from or go to.
DeleteI'm just not picturing regular readers of knuckledraggin allowing themselves to be locked up by some officious ken/karin.
ReplyDeleteI spent the weekend in the great Wisconsin northern woods with a friend who has property up there.
ReplyDeleteFriday and Saturday we bar hopped at a bunch of local places. No masks at all. Biden signs all over the place but hell if they'll let their ideology screw up their weekend.
Hey right wingers, if you think the left are just misguided idiots WAKE THE HELL UP.
They know it's all bullshit, they just hate us enough not to care.
They're not all misguided idiots, though most are. The rest are evil motherfuckers.
Deletelocking me in means a can of beans busts your window. and I get out.
ReplyDeleteGood, but not good enough. Locking you in should mean that your lawyer and you become the proud new owners of a store and two new swimming pools.
DeleteIn a lot of jurisdictions, locking that door and preventing a person from leaving constitutes kidnapping.
ReplyDeleteI'd be suing the shit out of them.
And pressing charges.
I'd just waddle over to the beer cooler and stay there until the kicking and screaming was over.
ReplyDeleteAnd then sue them. Bigly.
Hahahahhahahhaaaaaa, a piece of glass on hinges, eh? Lemme think on that a spell.
ReplyDeleteWell I'd be inclined to pull the fire alarm surreptitiously!
ReplyDeleteChutes Magoo
Those doors are designed to be easily forced open. For safety reasons, and so if there's a fire/emergency, the patrons can force the doors open.
ReplyDeleteWe used to do it when the opening manager was late. They hated that, because the cops responded faster than the manager. Oh well.
