LEE COUNTY, Va. (WCYB) - A father who drank 13 beers in one day and threatened to kill his adult son before swinging an axe at him was justifiably shot, according to Lee County Commonwealth's Attorney H. Fuller Cridlin.
Authorities investigated the August 5 domestic fight which led to a 29-year-old man, who was armed with a handgun, shooting his 53-year-old father, who was armed with an axe.
