A former upstate New York mayor has been killed and two others injured after a high-pressure food processor being tested for manufacturing guacamole exploded.
Dr Joseph Kapp, 67, local businessman and former mayor of Rensselaer, New York, died at hospital after the explosion on Wednesday morning at Innovative Test Solutions, an engineering firm and test laboratory.

DeletePressure vessels have strict rules for a reason. Misuse can and does often lead to fatalities. My whole career has been about pressure vessels, my original boss refered to pressure vessels as bombs in waiting.

Who pressure cooks avocados and why? Guacamole isn't cooked. It is coursley mashed and mixed with salsa and lime juice.
