TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida public school teacher has written her own obituary amid growing concerns from teachers who fear returning to the classroom during the coronavirus pandemic, WJAX reported.
“With profound sadness, I announce the passing of Whitney Leigh Reddick,” the Jacksonville, Florida, teacher wrote in her obituary posted on Facebook on Tuesday. “A loving and devoted teacher, mother, daughter, wife, aunt, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on August 7th, 2020. She left us while alone in isolation and on a ventilator at a Duval County hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.”

ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that grocery workers, healthcare providers, law enforcement, truckers, etc had direct contact with the public since the beginning of this scamdemic and they’re all still doing their jobs with a relatively low incidence of infection but someone who will work with a low-risk population has to be so retarded. ReplyDeleteShit like this is a big part of why we are homeschooling. We were planning on doing this with our oldest anyways, and staggering them. But no more. We will be homeschooling all of our kids. Fuck them. I have no more worry about this virus than I do about the flu, but people batshit insane reactions to it are kinda scaring me a little bit.
