Reminds me of the fires when I was in high school. Friday night watching the action and smoke on the field with burning mountains as a back drop. Even though it was dark you could recognize when the flames crested a ridge and started down the other side.

Ah, the Bobcat Fire. Started nine days ago. Currently 46,263 acres with 3% containment. The air tankers are dropping on it as we speak.
