LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — No trick-or-treating, no parties, no carnivals and no festivals.

These are just a few of the Halloween traditions put on hold this year in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“Door-to-door trick-or-treating is not allowed because it can be very difficult to maintain proper social distancing on porches and at front doors especially in neighborhoods that are popular with trick or treaters,” the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health said in its recently released guidelines. “‘Trunk-or-treating’ events where children go from car to car instead of door to door to receive treats are also not allowed.”

  2. Head Buzzkill Barbara Ferrer, the Director of the L.A. Department of Public Health whose PhD is in Social Welfare and whose annual salary is $522,000, recently said that L.A. county schools won't reopen until "after the election".
But she's not politicizing the terrible Coronavirus-19 Pandemic.

    2. As usual, right behind ya. Dunno about you, but until I'm confident I won't have to spend time in prison, I'll let you be the first.

  6. Can someone tell me what the difference is between trick-or-treating and protesting/rioting? Don't you come home with lots of free stuff in both cases?

  8. How about like when the wetbacks would drive a pickup into our all-white neighborhood and unload 10 to 15 Mexican "trick-O-treaters" who weren't even wearing costumes. Will that be OK?
