Next up is a trip to the grocery store to marvel at all the wonderfulness that Freedom and Capitalism provide.

    1. But remember to wear a mask and socially distance! You know, because we're so free...

  2. Whoa up there, they have probably been in this country for a little while so nothing is really new to them by now.

    1. Yeah, but ... First meal as an "I got papers" American.

    2. Or as the Mexican new citizens say "I got de papeles"

  3. Fair enough, but just the name of that burger - a "4x4 Animal-style" - sounds pretty darn American. So I think even as an informed choice, it's excellently symbolic!

  4. A 4x4? Impressive. Even if it's just a triple-triple...

    WELCOME, American!

    1. Dunno, I never saw anything like that on In & Out's menu. I first went to In&out way back in the early 70's in Ventura, CA. My two daughters loved the taquitos form In&Out. I can't ever remember eating anything from there at that time.
Fast FWD to three years ago, me and wife are in the Dallas area and haven't seen anything interesting to go try to eat, and then we see a new In&Out. Lets try that!
It filled the gut. It wasn't anything great, it wasn't nasty, it was just OK. Nothing special. Whataburger is way better, but WTF? I am a Texan, Whataburger is homestyle,
In&Out and other foreigners can come feed all the fucking yankees moving here
