Yes, people still fall for this crap

OKLAHOMA CITY (NewsNation Now) — 2020 has been an isolating year for many and for some, finding love online during a pandemic seems impossible.

One Oklahoma woman said she felt like finding romantic connections during the pandemic felt few and far between. Dawn Main had just lost her job to coronavirus when she moved into a one bedroom apartment in Oklahoma City with her 20-year-old son Jacob.

“That was just really really hard, I mean losing my job and having no income,” said Main.

So when a LinkedIn notification lit up her phone on June 18, she eagerly opened the app.

  2. I got divorced in 1998 but didnt really start using online dating sites till 2008. I corresponded and talked on the phone with a number of people and even traveled to meet a couple of ladies. In general I see a lack of critical thinking in society and a focus on feelings- if you bring that to the online dating scene, you are going to get hurt. What I always did was look for consistency, if you listen long and hard enough you will get a fair sense of what they are about. It may have helped that I had extensive experience with interviewing people in my child welfare job. A few of the women I met were desperate for romantic love, looking for that guy to sweep them off their feet, they were ripe for manipulation. on the other hand there are many young foreign women eager to meet mature american men, they look forward to being the woman of your dreams. So they say,
