Commentary: Barrett Will Sail Through Confirmation

As I write, President Trump has just confirmed what the rumor mill has been disgorging with increasing confidence over the last few days: Judge Amy Coney Barrett is his pick to replace the feminist icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died at 87 a little over a week ago, as a justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.

  1. Just wait for the shit storm when the left "discovers" she was the girl holding the legs of the girls Kavanaugh was raping.

    2. Dan,

I had to go fact check your claim that USA Today fact checked this. My apologies for doubting your claim.

These people are idiots and have serious cognitive/mental issues.

  5. Not to mention the start of the new SCOTUS session.

Would it piss you off at all to spend years getting a case to SCOTUS, plead it and then wind up with a 4-4 tie?

  7. It has started already. She adopted some kids from Haiti and the claim is that she kidnapped them ... Yeah, right.

  8. They're going to go after her Christianity and, more importantly, her Catholicism. When she was appointed to her current position, Diane Feinswine went there, famously, with "The dogma lives loudly in you". I wonder what would have happened if Ms Barrett had come back with well you're under the control of the Talmud and China, so what's your point? A better yet response would be that "the Constitution prohibits a religious test for any federal job".

  9. I'm actually quite disappointed with the Senate Republicans for even considering a Judiciary Committee hearing. The Constitution does NOT require it. McConnell should simply bring the nomination to the Senate floor and vote on it, and bypass the customary (but not required) committee hearing. The Demwit Party lost their right to a fair hearing with their clown show in the Kavanaugh hearings, so McConnell and Graham should just castrate them now and hold the vote in the full Senate. Now THAT would be quality entertainment.
