SHASTA COUNTY (CBS13) — You never know what you might snag out on the Sacramento River, but what was recently hooked by two fishermen did not require more muscle, it needed the bomb squad.

Almost every time I read about a major fishing atrocity in Northern California, it turns out to be people of Indochinese descent. Lots of them selling to restaurants, or owning them and stocking them. Drives me nuts!
ReplyDeleteBlack Butte Res. catching Crappie, every kid they have is in a snag tree catching them and dropping them in a bucket. Boat comes by and collects and Mama san is on the beach packing them up.Deer season is even worse, you are out watching a water hole or scouting a hillside, they are out shooting anything with a heartbeat and tossing them in the truck.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad the police were able to "denote" the bombs. Heaven knows what would have happened if they had actually gone off. /xs
ReplyDelete1. Story says the pipe bombs were homemade. Are there factory-made pipe bombs? 2. How many salmon were available after the bombs were denoted? The "writers" must be trying out in advance for the US in 'Idiocracy."
