  4. I was a swimmer in high school, and I had to walk home about 2 miles (uphill both ways, of course) after practice in the wintertime.

    On cold nights, my hair was frozen solid before I left the school parking lot.

    True story.

    1. In Michigan, my winter sport was wrestling. After showering, walking home, my hair would freeze before I got home, on the colder nights.
      Now, I would not have that problem, as I would just have a coating of ice on my bald head. Back in high school, in the late 70's, Michigan was always below zero at night. Now, I don't think that we have been that cold in over a decade. Must be that global warming.
