#1. Wife got on for running red light in F150 truck. Pic was of same license plate number but clearly it was on a sedan of some sort. Had to call to get it dropped.
I recently had to go rescue my daughter about half a mile from our house when she called the wife crying... She'd just left and was driving away when a Southern black racer popped up out of the engine compartment, directly in front of her on the windshield! Luckily, she was able to pull over safely and call. I'd just had major surgery and could barely walk, but I was able to hobble over and coax it gently out if the hood with my cane before it could crawl back down inside.
My daughter isn't generally scared of snakes, but this one took her by surprise and she'd heard/seen enough stories of snakes crawling out of air vents, especially here in critter central, Florida.
She may think I'm embarrassing most of the time, but I was her knight in shining armor that day. 😎
About six years ago, the Dallas Toll Road camera sent me a pic like that and said I owed them $15 or some shit. It wasn't the full license plate, one letter was a "partial". I wrote them a letter and told them my truck could not make the trip to Dallas and they need to figure out who that was because it sure as fuck wasn't me. They dropped the charges. Then two years later here come the original charge plus interest. This last bill I got it was totalling over $80. I saved all the paper work including their understanding that the picture was bad and that it must not have been me. I now am waiting for the total bil to get upwards of a $1000 and then I will hire a lawyer and sue the fuck out of the whole system for harassment.
