On Thursday, a group lead by social justice organizations JUICE Sacramento and Impact stood at all four corners of the intersection at Madison and Date Avenues. The location is less than a half a mile away from the Sacramento CHP station.

ReplyDeleteAnd yes the context of recent shootings and getting mobbed, literally, would tend to make the police a little more concerned with their own safety.
When they swarm around motor vehicles and try to prevent people from passing, this is the result. Do they really expect people to get out and discuss with them? One of these times, some one that is tired of their shit and\or maybe having a bad day is going to mow down a bunch or get out and start shooting at any and everyone if not both.
And they have NO clue as to how reality works...keep hearing them say you can't do that, get your hands off me, or claim the cops are assaulting them when they resist arrest.
Advice to CHIP: next time take all the doubt out of the situation-run about 200 of the kiddies over, turn around, and do it again. Then go enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of pie on me.

ReplyDeleteI guess the mob expect the Chippies to hang around after 2 cops got shot a couple of days ago then a hostile crowd shows up at the hospital screaming “We hope they die”. Dude climbs on the cruiser and you expect the police officer to just patiently wait for the possible gun shot from the hostile crowd while the dude postures on the roof of the cruiser? Really? Any sane police officer would have left the area and the dude on the cruiser should have known better, but I guess brains were not high on his priority list.
