There’s a collage going around on Twitter of various blue checks losing their minds over the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s promise to call a vote on President Trump’s nominee to replace her. Former CNN host Reza Aslan said they’d “burn the entire f**king thing down” if that happened, and GQ’s Laura Bassett said “there will be riots” — more riots, we guess.

The left is going to threaten the right/conservative side? Hell, the left got their shit handed to them by a 17 year old kid, with only 1 rifle. Multiply that times a million, adults who are fed up, and then give them justification to fight back.
ReplyDeleteI think that the right has been quite self controlled, with all of the BS going on with the BLM and the Antifa and other criminal elements of society. We have not gone looking for trouble, for the most part, trying to provoke a reaction so that we could bust some heads, or even kill some of the cockroaches that deserve to be killed.
Sure, a few nuts from the far right have gone to the so called peaceful protests of the left, attempting to provoke the kooks into a brawl, so that they can finish it. But actually, things between the two sides, have been more calm that one would expect. The violence has mostly been done by the BLM and Antifa bunch, against property, when they are confronted by the right side, they tend to run away, unless they have overwhelming numbers,in the case of Kyle Rittenhouse.
For the Democrats, and the nutjobs, but I repeat myself, to threaten to burn it down, or to destroy anything, is almost a joke. The presidential elections are now not about the left 40% or the right 40%, because no matter what, they will always vote for their side. The election is about the middle 20%, and if the Democrats cause martial law,or some other nationwide violence, they are pushing the undecided 20% to the side of President Trump. The Democrats used to think about the long game, and the Republicans about the short term. Now,it seems that the roles have reversed, with the Republicans understand the importance of getting this justice confirmed, even if it costs them control of the government,for a time. Because the SCOTUS is long term, and it is actually unlikely that the Democrats can change the court's makeup, because of the pressure of the public.
