Cub Scouts in UK. Not doing it for a badge. Once a year all Cubs and Scouts have what used to be called Bob a Job week. A "bob" was common slang for a shilling. The youngsters would go round neighbourhood volunteering to cut grass, wash car, anything all for princely sum of a bob, about 20 cents US. Most folk gave more than the minimum. A piece of interesting / useless cultural information So these two lads might be shining these boots for 40 cents. I am sure that the top of each boot got a particularly good polish. Ah, mini skirts..... That lady will now be a little older than me (although she always was) getting into mid to late 70s.
Hard to decide which one of these is best/ They're all really good. - Nemo
