Trump and Biden trade barbs in chaotic first presidential debate

After more than a year of circling each other, Republican President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden met on the debate stage Tuesday night in Ohio. 

The 74-year-old president and the 77-year-old former vice president are similar in age, and they share a mutual dislike. But they differ starkly in style and substance. All of that was evident from the outset on the Cleveland stage, in the first of three debates between the candidates.

Yeah, I watched the debate last night purely for the entertainment value and I was not disappointed. It's obvious neither of them took Debate in high school.

      After Wallace did for Biden, Slo Joe needs to blow him. Or maybe that's what Kamala is there for.

      Wallace's daddy was an arrogant asshole, and now we know the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

    Well according to those who say they know Biden is/was a great, very experienced at debating. Plus 47years of living off government offices.
    The hack Wallace was debating for Biden so it was more like 2 against 1.

      Actually if you count the guy that was talking in Biden's ear it was three against one. Trump knew it going in and decided to blow shit up. It sets the stage for the remaining debates.

    Wallace was obviously biased for the dems, for example what's with that question about "white supremacists" toward the end of the debate when all the rioting and violence has been spawned from the liberals?

      That is due to the Traitor Christopher Wray with his statements about right wing and white supremacists being the biggest threat to USA. (Which in a way he is right, only the CUSA and not the Gold Ol' USofA)

    Another shit show. I had to watch for the popcorn entertainment value as well but could not hang. If you think Trump won no problem. The reality is we all lost since this is what it's come to. The Romans had bread and the circus maximus to entertain people before the republic collapsed. Our circus was worse, no roman chariot races.

    if you took debate in HS you would recognize that that was NOT a debate, never intended to be. It was a Lemon Party, two against one.
