Funny you should mention Harry Beckwith. I grew up in Gainesville Fl. in the 50's and 60's. I bought several guns from Harry. He was the real deal. He lived next to his gun shop on rural 441 south of town.
Around here the people working in gun shops WEAR their guns for this type of problem
