  2. I know Mike. He wears a gun in the shop. They likely got the drop on him, and he went for a back up. He's a Nam Vet.

    1. I almost bought a Swiss K31 rifle there years ago. Wish I had, they've gotten pricey since then.

  3. Not the first time for a Texas gunshop. Checkout Pro Arms Podcast #107 on your computer search engine about a gunshop owner who twice confronted with deadly force some armed felon robbers and won. The interview was done by Massad Ayoob one of the top professional firearms/self defense writers in the USA. Very interesting story with valuable insights into handling a felon.

  4. Then there's the famous Harry Beckwith incident where he responds to a smash and grab with a fully automatic weapon

And that's in socialist Alachua County, FL.

  5. Funny you should mention Harry Beckwith. I grew up in Gainesville Fl. in the 50's and 60's. I bought several guns from Harry. He was the real deal. He lived next to his gun shop on rural 441 south of town.

seriously, we can't tolerate local news here anymore - even from "the most trusted source" - what a crock
