And the price of weed on the West Coast will be going through the roof

(CBS13/CNN) — To an outsider’s eye, Canyon Cannabis might’ve appeared like a small-town, rinky-dink pot shop.

Housed in an unassuming building off a scenic highway, it was the lone dispensary in the 500-person city of Gates, Oregon.

Inside, though, visitors were greeted with an explosion of color and sound.

  1. I got a bunch of hemp farmers around me. Talked with a few. Most said this was their last year due to a flooded market. One chick said she laid out 25k for a 1500 plant operation. Lost alot of it to budrot due to insects shitting on the buds and you are limited in the pesticides you can use. Talked me right out of it.

    1. Well, all in all maybe that is a good thing. Less tokers on the highways always means safer driving.

  2. Might be a good thing for the industry, long term. There's been too many growers and processors, a glut of product, and prices too low to be profitable. It was time to weed out (so to speak) some of the businesses.

  3. Karma, you get the government you vote for. Feels for the albums and instruments though.
