Go Green

The inquiry into the 2017 fire at Grenfell Tower in London has revealed how the styrofoam thermal insulation layer in newly-fitted wall cladding enabled a small domestic fire to rapidly engulf most of the building, resulting in the loss of 72 lives.

The type of cladding installed complied with advice given to local authorities in 2010 by the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) to reduce emissions through installing new boilers and insulation in apartment blocks.

    1. There is a lot of suspicion that the death toll is less than 72.

Most of the residents were welfare recipints. Some of the dead are 'children' that likely never existed except as a line on a welfare form.

Some of the others are 'relatives' claimed to have died in the blaze to collect $$ for their loss. At one point the estimate dead was 200 because of fraud. Officually 58 bodies were foubd and enough bits they suspect 71 or 72 dead.

No, no, my dear chap. Those 72 were insects, not even worthy of notice. The only people involved were the heroes who set the building requirements.

  2. Well, when you burn the place down you essentially achieve a 100% reduction in emissions by 2050, so mission accomplished not so great Britain.

  3. The Climate Change Commission should pay an annual sum of £10,000 to each Knuckledraggin reader who does NOT go to the UK. Think of all the carbon we wouldn’t be emitting flying back and forth, not riding in taxis nor driving their rental cars. Cheaper and better for the environment to just cut us a check.

  4. More stupid from the Brits. The best and brightest got on ships and went west, landed in America and said, "Thank you, Lord." Started a revolution and never looked back. Until now, and the stupids want to take over here, too.

Actually what killed the Brits intellect and out and out balls was two world wars in the last century. The men (if you want to call them that) remaining, couldn't find their way down a well with a flashlight (torch to you brits) and a map. Imagine the current crop of British, so called elites, chartering something like the British East India Co. or the Hudson Bay Co. today. They're such pussies they won't, not can't, won't arrest and prosecute middle eastern gangs that are raping their daughters. They're so fookin' euniched, they had to elect an American as their Prime Minister. Bloody Hell.
