Let it go alredy

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unveiled legislation Friday that would allow Congress to intervene under the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to remove the president, insisting it’s not about President Donald Trump but inspired by the need for greater congressional oversight of his White House.

Pelosi has been raising questions about Trump’s mental fitness since his COVID-19 diagnosis and demanding more transparency about his health. The bill would set up a commission to assess the president’s ability to lead the country and ensure a continuity of government. It comes one year after Pelosi’s House launched impeachment proceedings against Trump.

  1. She must have missed that part about separate co-equal branches of government. Congress has zero oversight of the White House. Just like the President has zero oversight over congress.

  4. I really wonder what this administration (and even their opposition) could have accomplished in the past 4 years if they hadn't started trying to come up with charges and accusations before he was even in office. Throw in the media trying to start stuff ('we got him now!') and fan the flames of everything ('he's raciiiiist!!!') and it feels like this administration has had to spend more energy on defense than actually trying to get stuff done.

And here we are, months before an election, and they're still shoveling their $@%!.

  5. Trump is Rush's guest for the full three hours of his show today and this 25th Amendment subject came up. They both agreed that what this is about is that it's a practice run for removing Biden as president and installing Harris after the election.

    1. Piglosi came right out and announced this morning that this move wasn't about Trump. Plus Schumer and company keep using the word "Installed" for the next president. Apparently they don't plan on leaving it up to the electorate. Scary times.

  6. "Pelosi has been raising questions about Trump’s mental fitness since his COVID-19 diagnosis"

Pelosi has been raising questions about Trump's mental fitness since before his inauguration - FIFU

She actually thinks this is a strategy to help derail President Trump's 2020 campaign. Shows you how many brain cells she's got left at 80 years old.

Keep flappin' those gums Nazi. Every time you open your pie hole, it reinforces the voters decision to vote for President Trump in 2020. She's a charter member of the Congressional Alzheimers are us caucus.

  8. Nancy needs to read the Constitution especially the 25th Amendment. There already is a mechanism in place and the House is not part of this process.

  12. Actually they are allowed to pursue this, although it will not get anywhere and she forgets the President has to sign it..Trump would not and Biden would do as he is told.

From the constitute project.org web site:
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide , transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
