Rural California is divided, armed for revolt. What’s the matter in the State of Jefferson?

Carlos Zapata has a message for any government official who shows up at his Tehama County restaurant and tries to enforce California’s pandemic shutdown orders.

“I’ve made it very clear that if they come to shut us down, I’m going to call 100,000 people that’ll be there with guns, and what happens happens, you know?” Zapata said Tuesday. “I’m hoping that they’re not stupid enough to want that kind of a fight over a restaurant being open, but if they want it, we’ll definitely give it to them.”

It’s not the first time the Red Bluff restaurant owner and U.S. Marine combat veteran has made those kinds of threats. A few weeks ago, he told the Shasta County Board of Supervisors to expect trouble if they enforce Gov. Gavin Newsom’s COVID-19 restrictions on local businesses.

    1. Try clicking the paywall page off. Worked for me - twice.

    2. Link works for me... except for the moronic 'accept our cookies' window blocking content.

No paywall found here, but you're not missing much. It's full of typical shitlib agitprop, such as characterizing the BLM/Antifa riots as "small peaceful protests." When I got to that part, I'd had enough of their bullshit and closed the tab.

  2. Love how being an American and standing up for it is labeled as "far Right".

    1. Well, it is the Sacramento Bee, A McClatchy paper. They've sucked for a long, long time. They recently went through bankruptcy and were bought by a hedge fund.
Back in the '90s all the loggers and foresters in my hometown had bumper stickers that read "Save a Tree, Cancel the Bee'.

  7. And don’t believe for a second that us rural Californians follow the bullshit gun laws here either. We’re armed to the teeth, and have had about fucking enough of this commie bullshit.

  8. Rural Northern California is NOT divided. I don't think rural SoCal is either. But I know here in the North were loading mags getting ready for Independence Day number 2. The 4th of November.

  9. go to "outline dot com" and paste the link in it. Most of the time the link will open without having to accept cookies and will not have advertising. Doesn't work on some of the MSM crap but why would we be looking there anyway.

  11. I cannot even bring myself to ask for His mercy upon the damned commies that are dead-set on making everything worse than 1863. Dear God, I've seen the pictures, I can only imagine what the cities are going to look like with modern weapons, and we don't even have the nice Mason-Dixon and the honor of Blue or Grey to fight over now... this shit is going to be all over the streets.

  12. Seems to me most other Californians are sick of Newsom's shit. He ordered the gyms to once again move the equipment outside within 72 hours, but that time has passed and the gym I go to hasn't changed shit. I'd do the same if I owned it!
And did you know Newsom is Pelosi's nephew? It's all in the family.

  13. The journalist completely discredits their whole message towards the end. Linking to the Michigan Kidnapping attempt as a rightwing plot shows that the whole article is complete propaganda and disinformation.
