More than a dozen men were arrested on federal and state charges in connection with an alleged foiled plot to kidnap Michigan’s Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer, authorities said Thursday.
Six were apprehended and charged with federal crimes, while another seven were picked up on state charges, officials in Michigan said.

"Anonymous" has it right regarding a two or three man team.. and that's how it would be done if the threat was "genuine" (which this is likely not). No.. nothing "odd" about this happening this close to the election ..yea ..right. I was part of the original modern militia movement back in the 90's.. and they tried this crap on us then when we were giving the despotic Clinton administration a hard time. Accused us of being white power types (our intel officer in Ohio was black.. that threw a monkey-wrench into one of their little racist smear-plots at that time when he showed up at federal level hearing on gun control.. loved the looks on the faces of the anti-gun scumbags who thought they were going to make us look like a bunch clansmen. We made idiots out of them. As to these folks and "the plot" ..believe this and I've got a bridge I will sell you real cheap.
Read a book a while back that was this scenario to a T. Even ended with them capping the gov at a turnpike. Heard this story and thought "they can't even be original".
No, they are not original. F'rinstance, the whole set-up where Lavoy was murdered. That was an 'ambush around a turn', straight out of the USMC Guidebook for Marines. Every element of that fiasco matched exactly that found in the guidebook.

I looked at militias when I first became concerned with the direction of our nation. Living in Michigan,the ones here were pretty radical, and not for me. My idea of a perfect militia is made up of 2-4 people, male or female, depending upon the skills you need. And they should be nearby, within a short walking distance. In other words the should be neighbors, whose only motivation is to keep each other safe, not to join up for a second civil war. If that scenario happens, the fight will come to everyone. I would not use any internet for communications. In fact, face to face, or through notes, handed over by one of the group would be about the only other way of sending a message to the others, with instructions to destroy after reading. Conspiracy is a charge that is often used to get people who they cannot get anyway else. It would be great to have the ability to speak to each other via radio, either GMRS, or ham or FRS. But use some type of coded wordspeak, so you don't have to put things on the airwaves that other people could overhear and use against you. The biggest thing is that you all keep your eyes open. A strong defense,to avoid a fight, is always better than being forced to fight offensively, after missing signals that a fight is coming. I live in Michigan, and I also do not believe that it was an actual threat on the Empress of Lansing's life. A couple of people who are good with an AR, could shoot at an overreaching Empress, from two different directions, and most likely give her a very bad day. I am not advocating such a thing, at all. Violence against the government is meant to be a last course thing, still a thing, but a last ditch effort, against an unreasonable dictator.
If its anything like normal out of the 14 2 will be PD snitches, 1 will be FBI, 2 ATF snitches, 1 working for the CIA, 3 will be under cover reporters, 4 will be Nam vets who were never actually in the military at all and 1 will be the local halfwit who couldn't lick an envelope without help. 😂
