They're cute until they eat Fifi

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The song and sight of coyotes are not all uncommon nowadays around parts of Sacramento.

But this month, a man said one of the wild animals tried to go after his small dog during an early morning walk on the Capitol grounds.

  3. Used to have a friend in LA years ago. Sitting in her back yard at night, you could hear the coyotes howl all over the neighborhood. I remember her commenting that on quiet nights, you could hear the coyotes torment and kill small dogs in the neighborhood.

Now, they're apparently in the illegal immigrant business. Times have changed.

  4. A coyote grabbed a small leashed dog not long ago at my neighborhood. The dog's owner beat the coyote with the leash and it ran off. I don't know which wild animal lover gave the coyote the gate code. There are also reports of coyotes following people walking dogs in the early morning. People need to be Rick Perry aware.

  5. BUT BUT BUT aren't all the coyotes carrying illegal aliens across the southern border or chasing roadrunners. (4 legged Coyotes for the people in Sacramento) will go where the easy food is small dogs and cats don't fight as hard as wildlife does. Look for them to take the smaller dogs and cats right out of the back yard in the near future.

  6. We've had a spate of Coyotes (the animal resembling a skinny dog, not the human smugglers) being reported around the neighborhood. All the "fifi" owners are on alert. As for me, I just have an 18 yr old Siamese that I wish would STFU. But we don't let her out anymore.
