The director of California’s unemployment benefits department said Friday she will retire at the end of the year following an explosion of more than 15 million claims that overwhelmed the agency and resulted in months of frustrating delays for people who lost their jobs because of the pandemic.
Ya, she'll retire from her $500K/yr no show job and collect a lifetime gold plated pension courtesy of the Califruitopia taxpayers, while the citizens of said state STARVE. When in hell are the citizens of this god forsaken state going to wise up? I see Nuisance got his azz handed to him yesterday by a judge that enjoined him and his successors from using the states emergency powers to make new laws. The judge told him in no uncertain terms that lawmaking is the prerogative of the legislature. To think, he's going to run for President in 2024.
