Well, that was a shitty thing to do

INDIANAPOLIS (WXIN) — A burglar struck the Indianapolis home an HGTV star, leaving a nasty calling card in the process.

Karen E Laine – the star of the Indianapolis-based home-flipping show Good Bones – says the recent break-in was the third time someone got into her home, and the second time an individual left a fecal surprise in her garage. The latest incident came the same day her youngest daughter got married. The burglar entered through a back gate before getting into their garage.

“Last Saturday someone came in, stole more things, and pooped in the garage,” says Laine.

  1. My workplace was broken into years ago and the visitors left a 'calling card'. The cops said it isn't unusual for burglars to drop a load in or near the premises.

  2. What a shitty situation. Not unusual however. A few months ago in Canada a burglar crapped in a dishwasher.

  3. I think it's completely understandable to need to take a crap when in a situation that might excite a person, such as burglarizing a home or reading Knuckledraggin first thing in the morning.

  4. Hey, Karen has enough wannabe tough-guy metrosexuals on her demo crew, with hammers and such, to handle burglars. Some of them don't seem far removed from Kentucky or West Virginia. Redneck up, dudes.

  5. I'm not familiar with her or her tv program but maybe the burglar is and he's critiquing it and expressing his displeasure with it. 💩
