Damn, that's like a million bucks worth of ammo nowadays

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Police have issued an arrest warrant for a convicted felon accused of stealing rare collectibles worth thousands of dollars from a storage facility in South Nashville.

Police say 42-year-old Brandon Laroque allegedly stole collectible fishing rods, fishing lures, antique ammunition and bullet loaders. The items were mostly Winchester brand and worth thousands of dollars, police said. They were taken from CubeSmart located off Nolensville Pike.

  1. Question: WTF is a "bullet loader?" The photo shows many cartridge boxes, a couple of cartridge display boards, a few bullets, one die box and over a dozen molds. I don't see anything that might function as a "bullet loader." Is it possible the FOX 17 News Digital Staff doesn't know jack about the subject?

    1. It’s the cousin to the chainsaw bayonet.

    2. I see what I think might be 4 Lyman 310s in that picture. They were like a big pair of pliers that had a place to screw a die into to size and prime cases and reload them. So I reckon this writer might be correct in calling them a bullet loader.

  2. The left side of the picture shows two rows of bullet molds and "tong type" hand reloading tools.
Those can bring big bucks for the ones marked Winchester, Marlin, and Savage. Even the older Lyman ones can get a little high on eBay.
