Meh - minor side effects

Four people who got Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine in the firm's trial developed Bell's palsy, a form of temporary facial paralysis, according to U.S. regulators' report on the shot.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulators said there wasn't any clear way that the vaccine caused Bell's palsy, but warned that doctors should watch for the alarming side effect and Pfizer should continue to keep tab on how many people it strikes.

  1. The Vaxxers make it seem that the side effects are “minor.” To me “minor” means injection site soreness lasting a few days, feeling crappy for a day or two, mild cold/flu/COVID symptoms, etc.

It does not include the known serious side effects of this vaccine including Guillain-BarrĂ© syndrome, anaphylactic reactions, Bell’s palsy (which is usually temporary, but may be MUCH more serious), contracting a full-blown case of COVID notwithstanding the vaccine, etc.

For some reason, no one publicized the serious side effects of the vaccine so that the prospective recipients can make an informed choice on whether to take the vaccine or go with the risk of contracting COVID.

If you remember the vaccine fiasco back when Ford was president. There was a swine flu scare, and President Ford urged everyone to take a swine flu vaccine. Many people got very sick, and some died from an anaphylactic reaction to the vaccine. It turned out at the swine flu was nothing more than a scare, Iand never really materialized in the United Stares.

  2. This suggests it's goes into the nervous system with unknown impacts.

  3. Bells palsy, sterilization, and the virus itself are the side effects of getting the vaccine. Anyone getting this vaccine is asking for a boat load of health problems for the rest of their life. Most people who get this virus don't experience much illness. Vaccines have worse side effects. Pick your poison.

    1. Nailed it.
The sterilization 'side effect' goes to show you how vile, evil, and morally reprehensible these people actually are. They've already indemnified the manufacturers, and the public won't know/figure it out until a huge swath of the population has already been vaccinated. Boom, population controls enacted, Agenda 21 suckers.

    2. That is what I have been reading on it. The other is it makes changes to your DNA. WTF? Factor in the week long side effects of flu like symptoms for both shots for a virus that is 99.7% survivable. I will not be getting this vaccination.

    3. Right' it's not a 'vaccine". it doesn't teach your immune system to react by injecting a dead or weakened form of the virus (which hasn't been isolated from what I understand). Past efforts at mRNA 'vaccines' have failed because its basically genetic modification/engineering. Being rendered sterile is one of the 'side effects" ask any of those millions in India or Africa where they've been experimenting for the past couple decades.

I'm sure they'll 'explain' this at time of vaccination. (sarc)

    4. @Otis "I'm sure they'll 'explain' this at time of vaccination. (sarc) "

Yah, just like any doctor or nurse can explain what strains of the flu that year's vaccination protects against.

I have a heart condition that I think will preclude me from ever getting the Kung Flu vaccine, not that I ever want to have it anyway.

I'm going to ask my cardiologist about it when I see him in a couple weeks. I'm betting there's no info about adverse reactions from the inoculation and my particular heart condition, even though my particular heart condition affects about 8.5% of the population in people over 65.

Hopefully he'll be able to give me a note exempting me from having to take it. 'Course that means I'll have to wear a mask everywhere for the rest of my life. Small price to pay to avoid death by vaccine, IMHO.

    5. @Nemo. Without getting into HIPAA-type stuff too deep, if you take a "blood thinner" for your condition, that may actually be beneficial if you catch The Coof, seeing as WuFlu makes some people hypercoagulable. (Hospitalized patients with Coof get tested for coagulation abnormalities and are placed prophylactically on anticoagulants if they exceed fairly low-level thresholds, for that very reason.)

As to vaccine vs [what I guess is] your condition interactions, I unfortunately have no idea. Well, I have some good guesses, but bottom line is that if I guessed right, you're not at markedly increased risk because of your heart thing.

Personally I'm looking into religious exemptions to avoid getting the Coof Vaccine. I might have to become a pious Muslima. They already are exempt from both the nekkidscanner AND from physical search by TSA, so clearly they have special privileges. Also, my niqab would meet facemask requirements.

Good news, then. We can all go on a rape/murder spree right before getting the vaccine. Sorry, DNA doesn't match!

  4. I'm 71. If the side affect was a raging hard on I'd get one about once a week. I do more but the heart is weak but the spirit is there.

  5. I had an episode of Bell's on Sept 5 2018. I still do not have
complete feeling or muscle usage in the right side of my face & if
any one tells you it's a 'minor complication' call BS.

  6. My Dad had Bell's when he was about my age, early 60s, and it affected his face the rest of his life.

  7. I won't be popular suggesting something on amazon; however, watch utopia. Both the English and American versions in that order. Its about a corporation that's unleashes a virus to get a vaccine with negative side affects quickly approved. Maybe, a little true to life.

  8. I am fortunate. My only residual effect from my Bells Palsy 14 years ago is a constant left nostril drip.

  9. Information a little misleading. These side effects are not directly form "corona vaccine" but can occur with any vaccine. It's due to the immune system's response from being triggered. ANY vaccine for any illness can cause these problems. It it a combination of adjuvents (things added to the vaccine to stimulate the immune system) and the immune system's response itself. That being said, I won't be getting the vaccine. Not because I'm an anti vaxer but because I'm 55 and in good health. My 75 year old mom however, will get it. Because she's at increased risks. Don't fear vaccines. Many of us wouldn't be here if they weren't in existence. Just use them judiciously for at risk patients and in a way that will help move the herd health model forward. That's all.

    1. I don't think anyone here said anything about not trusting vaccines, but I am hear alot od mot trusting THIS vaccine. This untested for long term effects, manufacturer with immunity, rushed out the door/preplanned with the nice folks who are seriously concerned about overpopulation, potentially compulsory vaccine.

    2. Fair enough about vaccines in general.

The problem I have is with this (these) supposed COVID19 vaccine(s). A novel type of vaccine, which we've never had before, rushed through in months. For which the pharma companies are given entirely unprecedented immunity a priori? THAT doesn't pass the smell test.

    3. As an army brat and later as a soldier, I took a ton of vaccines as required to travel between mine and my father's duty stations. I've got no problems with tried and tested vaccines, none at all. But one that was conceived and developed within 6-10 months? No way.

  10. ...and then there's this: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-9043703/Five-genes-severe-cases-Covid-19.html

You may be genetically predisposed to the having a more severe reaction to the virus and who knows about the inoculation.
