#1. House my dad grew up in only had light switches in the bathroom, that they built on in the 65 after they put indoor plumbing in. He had moved out the year before. Rest of the rooms either had lamps or in the bed rooms pull chain lights with cord long enough to reach the bed tied to them. The center bedroom had a big coal stove. It would burn you to touch. That room was always about 90 when the stove was roaring and the rest of the house was a warm 55 degrees in the winter.
#11 for the win.
ReplyDelete#13 has to get to Phil!

ReplyDeleteYup, as a kid I always had a string from the ceiling light tied to the bed frame.
Delete#10, love it.
