Trump SLAMS Congress for wasteful COVID relief bill, demands $2000 checks for Americans

President Donald Trump slammed Congress on Tuesday evening for the latest coronavirus relief bill, calling on lawmakers to increase the "ridiculously low" $600, amend the "disgrace," and send him a "suitable bill" or "else the next administration will have to deliver a COVID relief package."

"Maybe that administration will be me. And we will get it done. Thank you very much," Trump concluded.

And surprisingly, there's this:

In a surprise move, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi agreed to President Donald Trump's demands for $2000 stimulus checks for every American.

Ocasio-Cortez called on her friends in Congress to back Trump as well.

  1. There are almost 6,000 pages in that bill they're up to something really nasty if they're on board with just changing the stimulus checks.

  2. Selective hearing. He also said that some of the bullshit payments should be cut. Is that being done as well?

Ctrl + f "billion", "million", etc.
Ctrl + f "diversity", "deal", "climate", etc
Ctrl + f "insurrection", "President", etc

etc, etc, etc. 6,000 pages is absurd and unacceptable but it's not impossible to find the stink in it with a short amount of time if the document is in a searchable text format.

  4. It's so kind of the .gov to loan me 600 bucks of my money. I'm not even mad that they are gonna give several hundred billion to other countries. I'm not even upset that most people need money because the .gov forced them out of work. I'm not even mad that I will have to pay back that money. With interest. And to cover for all the nice people who don't pay taxes. Nope, I'm completely bought off on this one.

In other news, Santa is real, and is dating the Easter Bunny.

    1. Count yourself lucky if you get the $600. Last "stimulus," I got a whopping $5.07, after having been furloughed for almost 4 months.

  5. They won't cut the pork. They'll just increase the tab for future generations. I hate them all.

  6. The dems really love to spend our tax money and they really don't care how much the peasants get, so long as their pork projects get funded (with a kickback to them, obviously!)

  7. From my quick tally from just the Foreign Aid section, Congress has earmarked $7,850,000,000 to send to OTHER COUNTRIES.

  9. Whenever money goes to other countries a relative of congress is there to launder it.

  12. This latest Stimulation check is us$600.
This latest Stimulation 'package' costs us$900 billion with a 'B', or >us$2,700 per check.

Is the difference between >2,700 and 600 the over-head for the bumblebrats?

  13. POTUS is playing them against each other. Dems want this passed now and will gladly accept the hike in payment from $600 to $2000 to get what they really want: There's a clause hidden within that states POTUS can't use the Insurrection Act. Republicans don't want to pass the bill because some are flat out against it for good reason and the others are fence-sitters or RINOs.

Tomorrow is a Federal holiday. So government is not working. Monday the government shuts down due to no funding. That means the bill had to pass tonight or no deal.

Then it'll just be POTUS and he can tell Mnuchin to print the money necessary and POTUS can provide the stimulus directly to the American people without any of that globalist bullshit. Genius!

At least that's how I see it anyway.

    1. I think you are very correct. And the money isn't coming from taxpayers. MOF it won't be long before we all learn that income taxes will go away and all we will pay is a sales tax on non-essential items.
