WOODLAND, Calif. (KTXL) — A young girl, home alone, kept her cool while fighting off an intruder in Woodland, a city northwest of Sacramento.
“I heard like pounding. I thought it was knocking because I had my headphones in. And when I took my headphones off, I realized that somebody was actually trying to come into the house,” 12-year-old Nyletta Lincoln told KTXL.
How many more trees will need to be killed and made into baseball bats that twelve year old girls can protect themselves? We've got to save the planet. Give them a handgun.
And this happened in CALIFORNIA??!! I wouldn't be surprised if the state AG charges her with unlawful use of a weapon. Yeah, they're that crazy out there.
Not so much in the San Joaquin Valley, especially the northern part, as well as the foothills and mountains. You can pretty much shoot a home invader and still sleep in your own bed that night. Now, the coast and SoCal is a different story...
It's too bad that her new throwing axe was with Dad. Had he given it to her the day before, imagine THAT headline! Just thinking about it makes me grin.

Absolutely. This young kid will do well in life, and her dad sounds like a great man. I hope he buys her a nice pistol for Christmas.
