Commentary: They Have Opened the Gates of Hell and It’s a One-Way Passage

Recently, we received a copy of a private commentary sent around by a tech founder in Silicon Valley, who wrote the following, which we quote here with permission provided the author’s anonymity is preserved:

The entire American tech stack – which enables Americans to buy, sell, pay, and communicate – has been weaponized in furtherance of a radical anti-freedom agenda. This is the single most chilling week in my lifetime, and America’s since the Civil War.

"Right now, the leadership class of the United States stands on the precipice, slipping toward the creation of an ever-more authoritarian society run, not by goosestepping storm troopers, but by [BRAINWASHED ILL-EDUCATED] kids in hoodies and T-shirts [WHO HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES], sitting in front of computer screens. If not stopped, one day soon that oppression will be answered with violence. Ignorant of history, do they have any idea what they are about to unleash?"

Middle class America is no less violent than any other people. They seem passive because they're results oriented. They rise, not out of blood frenzy, but to solve the otherwise insoluble. Their methods of choice are good will, cooperation an finally, appeasement, roughly in that order.

Only when these fail, to end the abuse, do they revert to blowback.

They do so irretrievably. Once the course is set and the outcome defined, doubt is put aside. The middle class is known, condemned actually, for carrying out violence with the efficiency of an industrial project, where bloody destruction at any scale is not only in play, IT'S A METRIC.

Remorse is left for the next generation. They'll have the leisure for it.

We'd like to believe that this is dark speculation. History says it isn't.

Why do these writers always assume that the Left doesn't know what it's doing? While that certainly is a possibility, it is also quite possible that they know *exactly* what they're doing. Having done the math and determined that they can not only win, but eliminate/cow all that stand against them, they might be consciously pushing for the very violence that the author worries about.

If our side shoots first, they get to unleash all sorts of draconian measures, which they are likely dying to do, but know they can't without upsetting the normies - unless a sufficient provocation is provided.

If our side never shoots and instead sticks with its decades-old strategy of retreating, they win without a shot being fired.

Are the Left's rank and filers that cold and calculating? Probably not. Are the ones at the top orchestrating everything? That may well be.

Exactly. The shot-callers of the Left are not stupid. In fact, they tend to be of high IQ personally, and tend to be of high-IQ ethnicity. Their problem is not that they are stupid, nor ignorant. Their problems come from having internalized their tales of victimhood (both claimed and actual, and to be fair there is plenty of actual), so that anything they do unto us is justified, since it's either payback, or pre-emptive revenge. Also, they tend to be personally insecure, no matter how talented and accomplished they are. It comes from always being compared to "Well, your cousin Benny was Harvard Law faculty at age 28. So what have you accomplished, eh, smart guy?" That insecurity is one reason they react so poorly to mockery.

You know short-guy syndrome, where some sawed-off little fuck is always picking fights and getting offended by stuff even when no one meant to offend them? Same with many of the shot-callers of the Left. (Be extra careful dealing with short men and ugly women -- they have axes to grind.)

The thing with the Left is that they always overplay their hand. Dunno why such smart people always act so stupid, but it's a long, long pattern. And they never learn.

    2. I will agree with some of your expressions, but there ARE solid categories among the Marxists that many on our side do not see. The top's are smart, no doubt and have been schooled in the greater marxism. Everyone downstream of them are one degree or another a worthwhile idiot. And they are to be feared because they will do anything to push the commie agenda.
I never have believed that we should try to separate one commie extreme from another, they all want us dead.

Just days ago Donald j Trump took the view that his team needed to step back again and let the left make some more mistakes. As if all the mistakes they have made already aren't bad enough.

Is Trump afraid to step into the ring? At this point we already know probably 75% of congress and fedgov workers are Marxists, so lay them all off! What is so hard about that? Let it be known, any worker who comes back in and squeals gets a fedgov job back again, somewhere. And just like commie promises, so should be ours.

There are many instances where I would justify a crew walking into a fed agency and killing everyone. It doesn't have to be in DC. When offices in anytown, USA are hit and all over the country the Tops will begin to know they are under attack.

Presently, they have no fear of Trump. Son in law Kushner is reporting in regularly and so the top commies know Trump doesn't want to look bad.

So does that mean we have to go down without a fight? Hell no! But hear me. If we come in and rescue America from this commie threat, we cannot allow ANYONE take credit and or power and control for the effort. If proceedings were to happen soon, this might be all over before May.

While I abhor the idea of speech and thought control, and believe that the anonymous author is correct in pointing out that this is happening. I also believe that he has gotten it wrong as far as the involvement of the tech companies are concerned. The founders and captains of the large tech companies (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc) are capitalists and most likely Republicans (the friend of capitalists). Their actions stem, not from a desire to control the population or further a political agenda, but a desire to remain profitable and stay in business. This is the bottom line motivation of any business. They fear litigation, boycotts, and the heavy hand of the US Government. So they submit to the demands of the mob. Not that they agree with their views, but because they fear what will happen if they don't. They may issue a statement appearing to be in agreement with the mob's views but, in reality they are just trying to appease the mob and hope they will go away. Then it will be back to business as normal.
As far as you and I are concerned; we don't have to use their services. There is always TOR, The Dark Web, VPNs and many other alternative services. Or none at all. There are also entrepreneurs that spring up to fill a void or serve a need. Just watch. We are only under the sway of the large tech giants only to the extent that we want to be.

    1. When you say the founders are capitalists and lean republican you're guessing, and guessing wrong.

There are the rules of the game as they are and there are the rules of the game that you want. Play the game as the rules are and work to make the rules you want.

Bill Gates is a socialist. He knows how to play the capitalist game and win, but he wants a socialist world and socialist rules.

Warren Buffet is exceptionally good at the capitalist game, but again wants socialist rules instead.

Most of the later tech giants (facebook, Google, Twitter) are also leftists. Think more along the lines of Hollywood stars that make it big. They go from having relatively nothing to having more money than they can spend in a lifetime. They think everyone is like that and therefore socialism is the answer.

Of course, socialism kills the middle class. You can't tax me at 90 percent without destroying my standard of living.

    2. If income taxes are killing you, then begin educating yourself in tax law. It is simple and it is always like an open book test. IRS.ORG

In 1973 I was working for wages and in those days someone called "Young" sold a tax workbook that only presented the legal tax law, nothing illegal. I started learning. I was working for a contractor and the first wormhole I found was the IRS Form 2106. It is still the law and now my wife gets benefits from that secret. And there are thousands like that. You must have a creative mind and then know how to weave the numbers around the law and your numbers.

  5. ...after my .gov sponsored first "tour" of S.E. Asia; I was 'selected' for training as a shooter. I'm older now, a bit wiser; but the knowledge and skillset are still sharp. And I am not the only one... the fools on the left fucked up by not being patient. Another few years and folks lie me - or, us - would be gone, and the left could waltz right in. But their impatience, and hubris; will be their downfall. In an us vs. them scenario, it will be all of us, or all of them. There's gonna be a fight
    - Let's win, shall we?

Some like minded folks start removing the peLousy and schmuers, one at a time - until they are replaced with reasonable legislators.

  8. One takeaway from this article is along the lines of what I've been saying all along - the controllers path can only end in self-destruction. Who can shoot straight with a bent arrow? The flaw is inherent. This same principle applies to the controller's strategy and tactics. They are flawed. Either WE step up to our God-given responsibility to rule our nation as citizens or the nation will cease to exist. Any "civil war" is neither desirable nor offers a viable outcome. Cannot we learn from the last one? Lincoln did not save the nation - he began the process that destroyed the republic. Said destruction is nearly complete.

    1. Lincoln was enthralled with Karl Marx, Abe read exerything he could find written by Marx. What does that tell you?

But today, if we are going to eliminate the commies, they ALL have to be eliminated. Every One! That means judges, college profs, Police Capt's, sheriffs, city govs, county Tax offices, county AG and prosecutors. No one is off the hooks until after interrogations. Can you handle that?

  9. The writer cites ignorance of history as the issue. That misses the point: these people follow this course because they believe that they are right and that their path is paved with good intentions. The only way to create a fair and equitable society is to impose their draconian rules on the less informed troglodytes that are too stupid to realize they are wrong.

And we will be faced with what always happens: unintended consequences and the degradation or dissolution of polite and lawful society. The old saw about the road to hell being paved with good intentions if completely true. But, this will work because the perps have better intentions than the long list of failed attempts in the past. If it gets to violence, then it will be uglier than they can imagine, because they believe that their power makes right. It does not matter who "wins", the damage will be massive and likely irreparable in our (and possibly our childrens') lifetime.

Having recently retired, I was hoping for a peaceful life: withdrawn from most of society I had the conceit that I would be left alone to putter about in my dotage until I shuffled peacefully from this mortal coil. I fear I am too old for this bullshit and I cannot explain to my dear and loving wife what the fuck is going on. Rudyard Kipling observed that their is a thing known as the "Wrath of the Awakened Saxon". It is instructive to contemplate.
