From one of the most covid restricted States in the Nation.....

California scientists have discovered a homegrown coronavirus strain that appears to be propagating faster than any other variant on the loose in the Golden State.

Two independent research groups said they stumbled upon the new strain while looking for signs that a highly transmissible variant from the United Kingdom had established itself here. Instead, they found a new branch of the virus’ family tree — one whose sudden rise and distinctive mutations have made it a prime suspect in California’s vicious holiday surge.

  1. OK, it's been more than a year since this 'plandemic' was foisted upon us. Doesn't happen too often now, but when I do engage with any of the sheeple about this hoax, a simple series of questions typically ends the conversation quickly. To wit: how many people do YOU know that died FROM the KungFlu? (I've yet to meet anyone that knew a 'victim'; just "I know OF someone that...had underlying conditions). Next question: how many people do you know that tested positive? (Typically several to many) And what happened? (Everyone 'recovered') Last question: why do you continue to buy into the bullshit? (You a raciss/hater/conspiracy theorist/supremacist/denier, etc., etc.)

    1. I know 2 people, neither had underlying conditions other than old age.

Do you remember Angel who had her own blog and commented here a lot? Her mother died from it a couple weeks ago, I'm sad to say. She was a lovely lady who treated Lisa and I like royalty when we met her on our move out here.
The other was a woman in my in-law's church that was a regular for our family gatherings.

There were a couple others from my in-law's church that died from it but I didn't know them personally.

    2. I know of two people, third hand, that had or have it. One, my sister in law's brother in law, spent six weeks on a respirator and made it out alive, despite having several "co-morbidities". He was on coumodin for many years prior to getting Kung Flu. I haven't heard how he's doing generally since recovery.

The other one was also a relation of my sister in law. Cousin or something. Came down with it the day before Christmas. Haven't heard how that person is doing, but can't be in bad shape or I would have heard.

      Other than that nada.

    3. I grew up with a buddy who died last week. He needed stomach surgery of some kind but the doctor said not until he got a covid test, which came back positive, so they refused to do the surgery and sent him home. He died a couple days later, but I am not sure from what, but am suspicious it was the Death Panel at work by denying him access to needed surgery. But hey, one less social security check to send out every month.

  2. Covid 19 is a Coronavirus.....one of many variations of that family of viruses. And lik ALL viruses not mutates.....rapidly. We will be finding new variants of it forever. And like this one the new ones are only a true danger to only a TINY portion of the populace. Humans and viruses have been engaged in a war for eons. Some are more dangerous to usnthan others. Coronaviruses are NOT particularly dangerous.....unlike other types such as Filoviruses.

    1. Now that Zhao Bai Den has assumed the role of General Secretary, expect the goal posts to very quickly be relocated to the rear view mirror. Until they are needed for further social control, then a "new strain" will appear.

  4. A question about legalities:

If 'my friend' threatens to whack somebody, say... some totalitarian over in District Of china for example, then the totalitarian suddenly up and croaks but the death certificate says 'corona virus', can my friend get charged with homicide?

With another 'corona virus' death, would 'my friend' be automatically absolved of any malicious activities?

  5. Most of the people in our corporate office tested positive at Christmas.
They were all back at work 10 days later.
