Judging by the picture you'd think having a baby is a medical emergency. At least I think that is a baby. I thought it looked like a wrinkled pig under wraps.
Last decade of my moms life she was in the hospital at least once or twice a year. Her and I were much alike in a lot of ways. She liked her cheese burgers and Pabst beer. So when I would visit her in the hospital i would always get her two cheese burgers and two ice cold Pabst, much to the sh grin of my commie older sister. I’d walk in and the first thing mom would ask is, “did you bring it”? She passed in 2019 at the age of 93. I had already headed West, she did not get her burgers and beer the last time she was in the hospital. You don't know how a post will be taken by those that read them, Thanks Kenny.
My mother had a rare cancer, She was dying in the hospital. So I brought her her favorite, ribs and a milkshake from Portillos (Chicago area), the nurse said you can't do that. I said she is fucking dying. She left the room.
An umbilical cord sandwich?

DeleteAnyone who just did the equivalent of basically shitting out a 9-lb zucchini deserves to get whatever treat she wants.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly. Squeezing one of those out is damned hard work, so I've heard and observed.
Delete44 hours in labor, almost coded twice. All worth it for our healthy child. Husband who knew what to bring her is a blessing.
DeleteThat's actually more disgusting than what Bogside wrote! Well done!
DeleteIt looks like she is holding a baby seal
