A person called dispatchers around 6:30 p.m. Sunday from the intersection of Gerber and Power Inn roads reporting shots fired and a crash involving an SUV and a big rig, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said. Another caller, who said they were an emergency medical technician, also called about the SUV.
Another tragic death from Covid-19.
ReplyDeleteI like researching towns I hadn't heard of before. The demographics of Florin is very strange. From the census of 2000 and 2010, the population grew 71%. Whites became a minority, non-families shot up 67%, rentals versus homeowners increased by similar percentages. Rental vacancies hover around 30%. And poverty shot up as well. Name the ethnicity, it ends in -can. No, the other one. You'd think a prison was built nearby.
ReplyDeleteTry using city-data.com, it'll tell you everything you want to know about a particular city or town. Tons and tons of information there.
DeleteNeighborhood Scout is good for certain things, too.

Occupants of 'earthquake cars' execute each other with boring regularity.
South Sacramento has a 'special' charm.
That Chinese Virus is a class A bitch, isn't it? Covid kills. If only he had been wearing a mask, he'd be all right today. /s
