      Tried to do a Cobra Head maneuver as part of his approach and his tailhook missed. It was a Russian jet trying to land on the Admiral Kuznetzov.

      Back In The Day I worked the flight decks of USS Enterprise (CVN-65), USS Eisenhower (CVN-69) and USS Nimitz (CVN-68). That landing area looks about half the size of them.

When I was a day or two into Air Force Basic Training (in 1976) I was standing in line along a hallway and I came up to an intersecting hallway turned to look down it and came face to face with a pretty ugly, mean looking guy. My first thought was "How'd that Marine get in here?" Then I realized I had stepped in front of a mirror.

      Make up your mind. Were you in the Marines or Air Force. I don't think the Marines send their recruits to Air Force basic, it is too wimpy.
