  1. No info about why and who so one would tend to suspect that some sort of major f***up was involved - as in wrong address, wrong people, etc.

    1. Holy shit-balls Flea .. now I have go back and re-read the entire damned article. And yes, when idiotic dolts misuse singular / plural, it gets under my skin too. And do not get me started about folks who use "data" in the singular. Now I need a wee dram of my 100° six year old rye whiskey.

  8. I prayed last night, and I do it every Wednesday, Monday, and Sunday for the safety and freedom of children kept in slavery, the courage, strength, wisdom, and protection of the men and women sent to save them, and the utter destruction of those who keep children as slaves.

Yeah the leadership is evil, but a good part of the people are on the side of good.

    1. You know that good cops who do nothing to stop bad cops are not good cops, right?

  10. If yer gonna commit a crime make sure it's with the Feds. Much better prison time. Course they will put you where ever they have a bed which maybe a thousand miles from family but still much better living conditions.

  11. But nothing like this could ever happen when they come to take the guns.
And the thugs who come to take the guns would _never_ commit atrocities to try to intimidate the rest of the population. /sarc

  14. Serving a “no knock@ warrant at 6am.....?

Wait until daylight or until he goes for his car......

Or catch him in traffic or work.....

Too many people on both sides needlessly die with “no knocks.”

  15. My natural sympathy is for the agents, but these days, I have to admit it's tempered with thoughts about what was the warrant for, who were they serving it on, and general distrust and disgust with the way the Bureau has become politicized. They are not to be trusted (not that they ever were). The FBI has no one but themselves to blame for that.
Remember, when they ask for cooperation, decline. If they ask to interview you, make the interview in your attorney's office and record it. (That usually makes them quit the interview, since the only record they want is of their handwritten notes. Having a recording makes their biased notetaking susceptible to impeachment at trial.)

  17. “Every day, FBI Special Agents put themselves in harm’s way to keep the American people safe”. what a crock.

This could have been a setup to lure a couple of agents to their death. In any event, it would seem, superficially, that the agents didn't have very good intel on the site.

Then we wonder why more and more warrants get served by SWAT teams and police departments everywhere are armoring up. Next, Nasty Pelosi and Schmuckey Schumer will be waving the bloody shirt telling us that this is yet another reason to outlaw firearms, even while 99+% of gun owners are good law abiding citizens.

  20. This is how they're going to justify every operation from now on: "child-porn" or "violence against children". whether it's true or not. After all, they wouldn't lie about it, would they?

    1. My wife asked if I'd heard about this raid and I said "Yeah, supposedly kiddie porn or child trafficking" and she came back with "Uh-huh, you bet" and rolled her eyes.
I started laughing and said "You know your government is fucked up when you automatically side with the somebody that's accused of crimes against children."

  21. Planting kiddie porn on someone's PC remotely isnchikds play for the Feds. It then provides justification for just about anything they want to do. As for the two room temperature agents.....meh. The FBI has mutated into the American Gestapo....a WHOLLY owned subsidiary of the American Communist Party nee Demonrats. As far as I'm concerned they are ALL fair game.

  22. Yup. IIRC, that was one of the charges leveled against David Koresh. Seems that could have been handled by the County Sheriff's Child Protective Services, rather than a Federal TAX agency.

  23. Seems like a big show of force for kiddie porn. Maybe if he was a known child trafficker and they thought he had taken someone, but then it should have been SWAT or HRT.

Fibbies seem to like getting lit up in Florida, though. Enh, Michael Gross probably needs the work in another Movie of the Week.

She can't find it again for me to watch it.
