Bank of America Gave “Weapon-Related” Purchase Data Over to the Feds

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- According to a recent Fox News report, Bank of America secretly turned over hundreds of its customers’ personal data to the federal government following the unrest at the Capitol on January 6. The targeted customers included those who made purchases at “weapons-related merchants” in early January. The report suggested that the nation’s second-largest bank turned the private information over voluntarily rather than in response to a subpoena. Bank of America’s willing collaboration with federal law enforcement at the expense of its customers highlights the broad threat posed by those that would commandeer ostensibly private banks and payment processors to undermine Second Amendment rights.

  1. People should be very worried about things like this happening. If someone disagrees with gun ownership, fine, but the bigger picture should be seen. What do they divulge next?

  5. Shit like this is why I won't do business with BofA. And if you think they treat customers like shit, try being one of their vendors.

    1. Same with Wells Fargo. They are all associated with the Wall Street criminals and the central banks of the world. I have been telling family and friends to bail out of these banks for at least 30 years and most people won't move. When their NWO banks fucks them to death, it will be on them, I warned them.

    2. As soon as I retired out of the reserves all of a sudden I was hit by fees that we have never seen before. We went to talk to the manager and got some lame excuse and I turned to the teller across the room who knew me and told her to close both of our accounts. The girl did an efficient job despite the manager trying to "help" and we went down the street to a local bank and we are glad we did.

  7. Every time they fuck with you go online to the CFPB consumer financial protection bureau and file a complaint pretty easy. The girl who handled two of mine made me laugh for still being there. I know. I am stuck with them for now don't think I do not want to go elsewhere.

  8. You can buy a visa gift card at walmart for 5 bucks. Cash.

This can be spent on any purchases you do not want big brother to know about.

  9. Support your local credit union.
Different, not-for-profit institution; different rules. In the end, a CU costs less and you're a Member, not a customer.
USAA, RBFCU are in TX, with RBFCU now open to non-military members too.

  10. This is why I use CASH as often as I can, even for groceries, never mind anything else. There's no tracing of what I buy with the folding green.
