The armed intruders attempted to rob Ellis, and Khalil Herring is suspected to have been the one who shot Ellis. The 12-year-old, who lives with Ellis, defended himself and Ellis with a firearm, at which time the suspects fled, according to local news.
One thing I've not been able to find is did the 12 year old use his grandmothers gun or someone elses? His actions show the benefits of introducing young people to safe firearms handling early and well done to him
ReplyDeleteProof that a firearm is the great equalizer.
ReplyDeleteA 12 yo defended them - and they ran.
End of discussion.
Poor kid. Didn't know the rules and therefore did not go to the internet first looking for a counselor for the burglar. He'll be ostracized by the left for the rest of his life.
ReplyDeleteKid, AWESOME!! You got rid of a thug and p.ssed off the left all in one big swoop!
Congratulations to you and your parents.
No 12 year should have to go thru this trama, but good he removed the trash!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Under the HR127 bill being floated. Would the owner of the firearm be charged with not securing it from a 12 year old?
