Threats Of Death, Violence Against Newsom

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP/CBS13) — Law enforcement officials are investigating escalating threats of death and violence against California Gov. Gavin Newsom, his family and the wineries, shops and other businesses he founded.

  1. When the government fears the people, there's freedom. When the people fear the government, there's tyranny. It took a long time for me to acknowledge and take the bitter red pill, but the po-po are part of the problem.

    1. We are raised to be decent, law-abiding citizens. As such we have an instinctive sympathetic eye towards the police. In truth, they serve as the enforcement arm of the will of the state. They are loyal to and do the bidding of those who sign their paycheck. The military is the same. A person would do well to remember that.

    2. Especially now that the military is going to stand down for 60 days to "combat extremism". Pretty sure what that means is "loyalty tests" and such - "would you take up arms against American civilians?" No = GTFO.

  2. I'm not too worried about Gavin's safety. He and every member of his family are surrounded by CHP security 24/7. This 'threat' story is nothing but a sympathy play to attempt to ward off the recall and salvage his political career and his asperations of being President. Good luck with that.

    4. God bless you, IR. Berry Creek won't be the same without you.
I'm a better man for having known you.

    5. I feel the same about yourself and Kenny. Wish we could've gotten together, but there's always this place. Mr. Lane and Miss Lisa have made this a welcoming site.
As for Berry Creek, well, I guess the fire was a way of tellin' me that it was time to move on. Thirty-six years at the PO is long enough.

  3. Well, when your political decisions take a persons business, his home, and his ability to support his family, you end up with a bitter, angry mofo with nothing left to lose and all the "laws" left in place that keep people from doing violence become irrelevant. BFYTW.

    1. This is what I have been telling people for months (or longer if you count why they don't act) and, if the way the commie Dems are pushing things continue, it will only get worse.
Pretty soon there will be more and more of them getting threats and the protective class can only protect so many, especially after they come under threats.
Almost all of the power to prevent CWII is in the hands of the left and they appear to not have any intentions of applying in that manner, in fact quite the opposite.

Of course not. They've done the math, and they want war because they're sure they'll win. They control the police, military, media, communications, and finance. They have foreign allies to call upon for cannon fodder and supplies. They're organized and have a plan. Their footsoldiers have already shown a willingness to fight.

Our side - well... we probably have something.

  4. Couldn't happen to a more deserving politician. I wonder which alternative is going to arrive on his doorstep first. Recall or dirt nap.

...and just for the record, I live near the RIGHT coast. So all of you three letter agencies reading this, don't come knockin' 'cause I ain't threatenin', just spitballin'.

    1. Would getting caught in a mud slide or a sudden dust storm count as dirt nap? And if your not on a list of a 3 letter agency are you really trying?

I also am on the right coast so I keep hoping for the big quake to happen so half the state starts floating toward china.

  5. Isn't it time BLM had a "peaceful protest" at Newsom's wineries?

    1. The police would defend those with a tenacity that would make the Russians at Stalingrad look like pushovers.

  6. Wonder what would happen if some one started posting that Gavin had dirt on Hillary that would certainly lead to her arrest and sent to jail. Just asking for a friend.

    1. Why do you think she looks so tired...she has a list and is checking it twice, but until a name is crossed off she can't move to the next one and last I checked Ms. Maxwell is still alive and kicking
