Tennessee ranks 33rd of the 50 states for the percentage of COVID-19 vaccines it has distributed versus the number of doses it received, data show.
The ranking was revealed by Becker’s Hospital Review, and is available here. Becker’s updated the data on Tuesday.
And it's all lies....
ReplyDeleteAnd if you actually look, Tn is #22, not 33. FROM THE SOURCE CITED IN THE ARTICLE. Today. The average # clusters right around 62%, with 15 states under 60 -non under 50- and 15 above 68, with a few outliers above 80. The majority of states are between about 55 and 70.
ReplyDeleteIn other words, it depends on the day you take the count, and most states are getting about 2/3 of current receipts used. Totally within expectation. Under 50 would be worth noting; over 80, ditto. Everything else...yawn.
The piece at the Tn Star is media bullshit, and typically incompetent.
The actual news is that Tn is about average, and there are local high and low spots.
The media are proven liars. Why do we believe them? Especially as it's as easy -in this case- as going to the cited source.
