KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating a video that appears to show a school resource officer slamming a high school student to the ground.
Osceola County Sheriff Marco Lopez said he has asked to Florida Department of Law Enforcement to conduct an independent criminal investigation in the interest of transparency.
