You know, it wasn't so long ago when the cop would have just given the guy a ride home and that would have been the end of that. But then they became "law enforcement". Now they wonder why a large segment of the population has lost respect for them. Curious.
Eh. We get patients (who are perfectly ambulatory) who call 911 for an ambulance to get a ride to clinic. They then demand another ambulance home, even though we give them (free) cab vouchers. Why the ambulance? Because they take you inside your apartment, while the cab drops you off at the front door of the building.
These are not Americans, if anyone is wondering. And no, they are NOT Black. But their people have suffered. Oh how they’ve suffered.
Anyhoo, calling 911 for a ride is not news in these parts.
