A gun for The Woman On The Go

A Missouri woman arrested last month on drug and weapons charges had a small revolver hidden in a body cavity that went undetected during a strip search and two pat downs, police report.

The four-inch .22 caliber firearm--fully loaded with five rounds--was discovered yesterday by personnel at the Boone County Jail. The weapon was found among the personal belongings of Amy Natasha Wilhite, 39, who was booked into the facility on February 14 following her arrest by the Columbia Police Department.

  7. I've seen more than a few Missouri women pushing 300 pounds-just think what one of them could be carrying.

  9. They also found a Timex watch, a wedding ring, and four subway tokens.
(I lost one up there a few months ago, but in a different woman)

  10. Having worked in the regional prison I am not surprised that the pistol was not found. Only medical staff can do a body cavity search.

  11. I live in Columbia and didn’t see this on the local news, but didn’t catch the news Friday or Saturday. Time on meth must be like “dog years”.

  12. NAA could tap a new way to market that tiny piece. Include a baggie, a single-serving tube of Astro-Glide, and market it as the “Pooter Shooter Kit”.
