About 45 Percent of Small Businesses Risk Closure Within Months

At least 13.9 million of the nation’s small businesses are at serious risk of shuttering their doors by April 1, a recent industry report found.

Forty-four percent of the country’s 31.7 million small businesses are at risk of closing by the end of the first quarter, according to small business group Alignable. Small businesses on the brink of closure expect to earn less revenue than their owners estimate is needed to stay afloat.

  1. Many small businesses have already been crushed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Quit blaming nature. It's the gahdam government doing this.

    1. The more the regulation, the more the need for lawyers, the worse for small businesses.

The estate tax has taken away lots of family farms (including my grandparents). Large, industrial farms are effectively immune to estate tax.

  3. Wait until they cram through the $15.00 an hour minimum wage. That will do in many more.

  7. Y'all don't understand. The President of the United States of America is very busy with: BLM, Antifa, LBGT, gender shit, destroying our history, working on the Mr. Potato Head dilemma and working hard banning Dr. Seuss books. Can you imagine that fuck off going home and his wife saying, What did you do today honey. Well, I banned six Dr. Seuss books. Oh you poor thing, you must be exhausted, let me pour you a bath. What a fuckin piece a shit.

  10. Here in southern Ohio, near Cincy, the small stores are among the most converged. The hobby stores and game shops insist on masks covering the nose, and both my wife and I have gotten to the point where we hate to shop. We only wear masks when we absolutely have to, such as Costco.
Even the gun stores here insist on masks; I cancelled my account with Cabela's in part over this issue.
As far as I'm concerned, most of the small businesses can close. As Vox Day says, get woke, go broke.

    1. Around here, the only place that 'requires' a mask is Walmart and they don't say a word if you ignore that. There's no distancing and restaurants haven't changed their seating arrangements at all.

  12. at some point, all this bullshit ends. the woke shit, the covid shit, the gender shit - all of it - ends. sadly, we have to kill almost half the country. which was 'their' plan for us; but 'they' didn't want to get 'their'delicate hands dirty; so 'they' used fear, propaganda, and lies. I expect 'we' will be a bit more open, honest, and direct...
and we will use bullets. - Grandpa
