Doorbell video captures moment plane crashes into car near Miami

A single-engine plane crash left two dead and two others injured when it crashed into a car shortly after taking off Monday afternoon.

The Beechcraft Bonanza took off shortly after 3 p.m. at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, Florida, located about 20 miles north of downtown Miami. The plane crashed in a residential neighborhood, police said.

  1. There's a plane I wouldn't fly in - they crash too fucking often.

  2. Man, We have a perfect record, we never left one up there. All joking aside General Aviation is still a safe way to travel, there are far more automobile crashes resulting in death in one day, one day, than the same amount in ten years of GA flight. But its a numbers thing too, as the FAA makes the sky safe by regulating pilots to the ground. Perty soon GA will be a thing of the past for the common man.
Oh and somewhere that is a A&P mechanic sweating.

    1. May be more a lack of maintenance issue, not improper work....that goes back to the owner....

    2. Unless the owner is a Certified mechanic he is not touching shit on that plane. All work on GAs must be signed off by a certified mechanic. I’m certified to work on one AC, mine. Thats one of the perks of experimentals. But there are drawbacks to that class too. Like anything with the federal government we the citizens get it up the ass regardless.

Bottom line its a machine and shit breaks. The FAA will investigate and most likely point to Operator Error, somehow someway it always goes back to the operator.

  3. If the lady in the SUV had been driving one mph less, both her and her kid would be dead too. What can you say except "gravity works".
