Oh, so it's different when it happens to him, huh?

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – A police officer is filing a lawsuit against the city of Coral Gables and two other officers after he said he was demoted and his professional reputation seriously damaged.

It was November of 2018 when Ben Guerrero said two off-duty officers working security at Hillstone Restaurant in Coral Gables yanked him from a bar stool and dragged him outside. He was arrested, charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence. Guerrero said neither of those things happened.

“What happened to me was a crime,” Guerrero said. “They perp walked me through the restaurant in handcuffs.”

*****

Makes me wonder how many people he's 'perp walked' out of somewhere not caring that the person was protesting that they were innocent.

  1. He was probably sucking the watch commander's ass rattin' out his brothers for taking long coffee breaks. I bet those 2 arresting officers were cheered after the "perp walk".

  2. If, as according to the story, he had FORTY YEARS in law enforcement, why was he still employed as a police officer?

This guy is AT LEAST a double dipper, probably a triple dipper, pulling down a full pension from one department and working as a university cop AND as an adjunct professor.

He's pissed because he lost at least one of his gigs, probably two, and now he'll have to "exist" on his one measly $70K-$90K pension. BooHoo

  3. One thing to always keep in mind about cops is that when a totalitarian govt takes over that cops "always" go along with it as it gives them more power. Look at all the countries that turned communist in the last 125 years, the cops stayed silent about the gulags, death camps and mass graves. Zero insurrection from cops against government murder. Pay attention to the difference of prosecution of a one day DC riot as opposed to a year long looting, burning and murder fest.In our country expect no help from cops with what the democrats have planned.

  4. "Police lied on the affidavit". No shit? My neighbor was arrested a few weeks ago for beating up his girlfriend. The cops tried adding resisting and striking an officer, then struck it when they realized I was standing not ten yards away, under my surveillance camera.
