    Your conversation is a bore.
    America is something to defend.
Cause that shit's been tried before
But we kept it off our shore
And the new kids are too dumb to understand.

    Yes I'm wise
And that wisdom came with age.
    My generation's paid the price
So you wouldn't be a slave.
    It's a shame you
    Will fall for anything.
You are wrong. You all are gullible
    You have no future.

    Helen Reddy would hate me.

  3. If I could go back in history, I'd go to December 18, 1972, and convince Joe that the road's were too bad for his wife to be driving, and that he should take the kids instead.

  4. #5 Bacon Grease ... I use it for cooking some things. Fry eggs in BG instead of butter. Potatoes too.

Put some in a pan, add a bit of either flour or corn meal, cook it, add some ground pepper then add a bit of milk to thin it out to a thick gravy. Voila, you have bacon gravy to put on your hot biscuits. Great with eggs and whatever else .... You're welcome

  7. I'm stealing that Bacon Grease meme.

My Granny had a little tin can of Bacon Grease on the back of her stove until the day she died and as J West points out above, if you have that, a little flour, salt, pepper and some milk, you have the best gravy on Earth just waiting to be made.
I asked her to teach me how to make that when I was still a little kid and I keep cast iron frying pans around just to fry bacon and make that gravy in.

    1. My granny used to save all of her fat, except bacon fat, in a coffee can on the back of the stove. She saved the bacon fat in a mason jar in the fridge for cooking eggs, potatoes and other things. When the coffee can of fat was full, she made soap.
