Attorneys for the family said Pasquotank County Sheriff Tommy Wooten would allow them to view the video at 11:30 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m., the family said they still haven’t been given that opportunity.
Harry Daniels, an attorney for the Brown family, said county attorney Mike Cox emailed him at 10:26 a.m. saying redactions needed to be made to the video and it might not be done Monday.
Earlier Monday, Elizabeth City’s mayor declared a state of emergency ahead of the release of the bodycam video.
