  1. I checked the Demographics of this "troubled" Knoxville school

    -African American (80.2%),

    -White (11.1%),

    -Hispanic (5.6%).

I might be wrong, but I'm bettin' it winds up being a White Supremist teen with an AR-15.

    1. 4 students shot so far this year in separate incidents. I'm betting jogger gang activity that will be swept right under the nearest rug. The school is on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. What else do you need to know ?

    2. Bogsidebunny beat me to the demographics numbers, but here's the school's website. They're not turning out many college-ready kids. Also note the address. I only looked it up because the headlines said "High School in Knoxville" and my grandsons go to school on the other side of town.

  2. Ok man, this is some obvious bullshit with all these shootings. I mean, they flat out dick slapped us in the face with the stolen election and pedophile hologram installation, now they are doubling down with this shit for the gun grab set up. Get on with it for fucks sake.

  4. In 1990 a law was passed legally prohibiting the adults in a school from protecting the children - the Gun Free School Zones Act. Maybe the purpose was to cause school shootings so as to smear gun owners and the 2A. Once the law was in place it was just a matter of waiting for the occasional nutcase. Otherwise, why was the act not rescinded when it caused such havoc?

  5. I could be wrong, it seems to me that there has been a rash of mass shooting ever since our all wise President announced his and The Party of Evil's item of new gun control laws? I don't remember this many incidents of mass shootings when the "bad orange man" was president.

  6. One policeman wounded, not life threatening. One other person killed. Not multiple victims and no mass shooting.

  7. I live outside Knox. Been a string of shootings at that school recently. Of course nobody knowd nuffin...
Article says cops surrounded guy with gun. Shots fired, guy dead, 1 cop in hospital.
Sounds to me like they got their man!

  8. This writer is clearly trying to set a scary narrative because of the lack of facts supporting gun control. They can't definitively say it was a white guy with an AR-15 and MAGA hat so they slip this line into the brief article:

"Several current or previous students from the high school have been killed in gunfire this year, though none were shot to death inside the school, NBC affiliate WBIR reported."

My guess would be crime or maybe even gang related deaths that they're trying to lump in with "school shootings".

    1. That paragraph jumped out at me, too.

Across this country, a lot of shootings occur on or near schools -- and it ain't a bunch of white kids doing them.

    2. And you can bet Shannon Watt and her Demanding Mothers count every cap busted in the same zip code of the school as another "school shooting."

    1. Oh he had a gun alright, and rather than surrender it, he shot at and hit an officer in the leg. Thus the armed response.

There are mass shootings every day in Chitcongo, yet no press about them. Go Figure.

  11. We have one locally.

"Magnet schools" were an idea to have school boards offer venues with higher standards, special classes, greenhouses for exceptional students. It was a good idea.

The execution, though... Can't be putting anything like that near the people who'd benefit most from it. They went to minority neighborhoods where no discerning parent would dare send a kid.

  12. Gee. No race. No manifesto. No other people hit.

And the deader? Was the shooter.

Talk about writing an inflaming article.

And that head of the TBI? Basically said the cops provoked the shooter.

  13. Pretty balanced article for NBC:

  14. This happened in my home town.... Austin East is notorious for shootings and unsavory behavior. To call it a "magnet school" makes me wonder just what it is a magnet FOR The suspect DID have a gun and made the fatal error in judgement of shooting first and wounding an officer in the upper leg.... other officers fired in response, killing the suspect. The cop is in a local hospital following surgery to his leg and as of last night (Monday) was in "serious condition."

If you're looking for trouble in Knoxville, head over to the east side and the area around Austin East HS. After dark especially.
