ReplyDeleteI think they're light on some of their numbers, like the A-1's and C-130's, but I'm not sure my how much.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to massive waste there was plenty of corruption to go around. One story was that a Quartermasters sergeant in Saigon arranged for a large crane to be delivered to an accomplice in the Oakland area. The crane arrived piece-by-piece and was sold on the black market. No one asked questions until after the job was pulled off.
